Attending the day hospice for the first time is never what people imagine. As soon as patients arrive they discover a beautiful modern building providing a friendly welcome from both staff and other patients. Then over the 12 weeks they attend they gain an increased sense of confidence and empowerment as they learn to live with their illness. Patients can’t speak more highly about the emotional and physical support they receive.
