The Great Oak Tree at Upton Pyne has been there for centuries and has been referred to as the Great Oak as far back as 1765! And not just its human history but its natural history is very special as every part of the tree provides a home for a huge variety of wildlife.
This film is one of a series of films highlighting the often untold stories surrounding famous ancient trees in East Devon. The films are available on DVD for showing at community centres.
