Changing Views is delighted to have worked with SixtyOne and 12 other Bristol charities in the production of a short film to promote The Rehabilitation Marketplace, an exciting event showcasing the charities’ work amongst prisoners and ex-offenders.
Re-offending costs the UK taxpayer £10bn annually and there’s also the tragic human cost of the revolving door.
The event offers a real opportunity to find out how we can all get involved, beyond just donating, by offering pro bono services or by volunteering. There will be a short introduction by the Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset, Andy Marsh, on the importance of the local community in reducing re-offending.
